Today we began a new unit in our Skills, Domains and Math. We will focus on reading about The War of 1812, The Human Body and for math Graphing/Measurement and Money.
Today our homework is:
Math: Lesson 4 Exit Ticket
Spelling: 1.1 and 1.4 for Mrs. A.'s group
Ms. Y.'s group: Read Queen Ant and spelling word copying
Reading: 20 minutes or RAZ
Parent signature is needed on the Class Dojo report
This Thursday, we will have a dental screening from 10:30-11:20.
Today we returned all of our school library books.
Thank you to all the families who donated a book(s) to our classroom library from the Scholastic Book Fair. We appreciate it and are already in love with reading them!
We will not need volunteer help, aside from Thursday folders, this week and next week. We are busy learning as a whole class and assessing for report cards.
Monday, May 28 is Memorial Day and a holiday.
Our last day of school is Thursday, June 4th -making this week our last full week of school.
Monday, June 1 is our field day along with 1sst and 3rd grades. Our class is hosting a boat race.
Thursday, June 4 we will be having a BBQ and watching the teachers versus 6th graders in a softball game.
